Could Be Just Me
I'll keep this simple: Am I the only person who really isn't looking forward to Guild Wars 2?

No its not just you.
There are many reasons i'm not looking forward to GW2, partly the premise of the whole sequel is irritating. You buy a game, and the expansions, then they decide they want to change it a bit and suddenly the money and time spent on the old game will be forgotten. I really hope that the HoM bridge will make a big difference to GW2 PvE characters otherwise the last 2years have been pointless really (Can't make a difference to PvP or nobody that hadn't played GW1 would buy GW2 as the players that have a HoM could own them, but PvE doesn't need that same balance) But to be honest, and i've been playing WoW a bit recently, GW2 sounds just like WoW. Races, Race attributes and such makes me think i'll now be regreting the race i picked as well as proffesion when farming builds turn out to be race and proffesion. LF Asura Nuker must be asura and have this skill bar and . . . . . . yawn |

Meh, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I started GW in May so my experience has obviously been different than you old-timers. It's kind of depressing we won't have any more expansions or big changes (i.e. hair stylist, auction/vendor system), especially since the game has only been out for little over two years. |

i'm not really.. why? gw is a game that i've been looking for for years.. its nearly exactly what i've always wanted in a game.
and i don't think gw2 will run on my compy and i'm a poor college student. and just meh not too excited about it. |

We've all had games where you play it and think, "this is perfection".
Then you hear theres going to be a sequel, and your hopping around and can't wait for it to come (or atleast when i was younger i was). The you get it, install it and find they've taken all the best bits out and "upgraded" it with overcomplication and un-needed extras to try and hide the simple fact that it's more of the same This is what my expectations of GW2 are, Grim but true |

Disapointed in the Info for GW2
It's been said GW 2 will not have point to move with the mouse. I'm a relaxed player and don't like to have to use the keyboard to move. I quit playing Ego Shooters because of this, what else will we find jump and run, then I can buy a Nintendo. Not real happy with what I'm hearing so far.

Not at all. Unless their solo play actually works. (No heroes, hench. Just me.) I'm all up for a free version of WoW.

I'll buy it when it comes out. But I'm not looking forward or hype about it really, it's bloody 2 years+ away.

Hey you can always try the beta before you judge
I personally hope it will be postponed for a while; I'm still having too much fun with GW1 and I don't want everyone to move away from it, what will happen once GW2 is out. |

We don't need another thread about who isn't getting GW2.
